Cardio vs. Strength TrainingCardio vs. strength training involve two different types of workouts. So how about a quick cardio vs. strength training primer
Obviously recommendations for cardio workouts don't have to involve some complex routine. But if any of those aren't your speed, even briskly walking in the mall before it opens would be considered cardio exercise. As again cardio workout programs are anything that gets your heart pumping. See? Then too cardio training exercises often don't require special equipment while strength training does. Still you can do strength training exercises while holding just about any heavy object or "weight". Often that's combined with squats, lunges, or dips for maximum affect. Or not. As in the case of pushups and crunches. Where the weight used is simply the weight of your body. Lets get more into the strength training side of cardio vs. strength training.
