•  Lie on the floor (or a mat) with your knees bent, feet hip-width apart, back flat against the floor.

•  Interlink (or cross) your arms behind your head and exhale, pulling with the abdominals to slowly raise your upper body up as far as you can.

•  While your torso is elevated - exhale. Then try to raise up a bit further.

•  Inhale as you slowly lower your upper body back down to floor.

•  Breathe out to relax with your the arms and head down on the floor.
