Healthy Fruit Smoothie Recipes: Banana Berry
2 cups plain, nonfat or lowfat yogurt
½ cup skim milk
1 medium-size banana
1 cup unsweetened frozen berries of your choice
1 teaspoon vanilla
Honey or sugar substitute to taste
Toss all ingredients in your blender. Cover and blend on high until smooth and foamy. Serve over ice. Makes four servings (about 1 cup each).
Per serving: 121 calories.
Healthy Fruit Smoothie Recipes: Orange Vanilla Vortex
1 cup of orange juice with added calcium
½ cup of frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 banana,
½ cup skim milk
1 cup of fat-free or low-fat vanilla yogurt
Toss all ingredients in your blender. Cover and blend on high until smooth and foamy. Serve over ice.
