Make sure you get in dairy daily. (try saying that 3 times fast) That's right eat things like low cal yogurt, and drink low fat milk every day.

Dairy delivers a doze of calcium which seems to help boost your metabolism and stimulate fat burning.

In fact studies have shown that those who ate dairy products three times a day lost an extra 10-15 pounds over those that didn't. Besides dairy foods also cause you to feel fuller. So you eat less.

Then don't skip breakfast. Here's why.

Research suggests breakfast eaters appear to eat less and eat healthier than those who skip breakfast. Which just makes sense. If you're starving by lunch, you'll be tempted to eat more and eat more of the bad for you things, no?

But while it's good to eat breakfast, it's wise to avoid fast food. Especially anything fried. If you're craving fast food make sure you "have it your way" and skip the cheese and special sauce. Or it you want pizza go with thin crust and veggie toppings. That's one low cal eating out tip at least.

Finally keep in mind some foods are easier to over eat. It's easy to go overboard on things like cheese, white pasta, and cookies. Foods like this are high in calories but low on water content . You're better off filling up on salads, fruits, veggies, and who grain cereals. And then topping that off with say a cookie as dessert.
