Grapefruit Can Magically Burn Fat?

Myth: Certain foods, like grapefruit, celery, or cabbage soup, can magically burn fat and make you lose weight.
Fact: No foods can magically burn fat. Not the grapefruit diet. Some lesser known celery diet. Or even cabbage soup.
Granted some foods with caffeine may speed up your metabolism causing your body to use up calories for a short time. But still they do not cause appreciable weight loss.

Tip: Rather than counting on magic the best way to lose weight is to cut back on the number of calories you eat and be more physically active.
